Fundraising Events
SOTA will be offering opportunities to earn fundraising points throughout the year! All donations earned support local charity services, special SOTA events, and funding support for the 2021 AOTA Conference. Rules and Tips of Fundraising:

When signing up in Google sheets for slots, be respectful and fair! If you see someone’s name signed up for something already, do NOT delete it and replace it with your name. If this happens to you, notify us immediately. Officers will check the editing history and correct it accordingly.

If you have already met your fundraising requirements (1 point) for the semester, please do not sign up for a spot until 24 hours after the sign-up sheet has been released. Priority will be given to those who have not meet their fundraising requirement yet.

Please sign up for only 1 spot per fundraising event. After 72 hours, anyone can sign up for any number of spots.

If you cancel your sign-up, please wait 72 hours before re-signing up for the same event. If you cancel within 24 hours of the event, you must wait 72 hours for the remaining fundraising events to sign up.

Bring all food/materials 15 minutes before the fundraising event is scheduled to begin to the location. If you are in class during that time, you may send the items with a classmate. Be sure to have all items clearly marked with your name and what food it is.

There will be a reminder email the day before the sign-up sheet will be posted, for equal access.

It is against University policy for alcohol to be served at any school events.

As of 2017, it is University policy that all items sold in bake sales are store-bought. It is recommended that baked goods being donated are individually wrapped and sold.
